Diagnosica is an AI clinical simulator for medical students and junior doctors. You take a history from an AI patient on video, by voice or text, order labs and real imaging, commit to a diagnosis and management plan, and get a competency scorecard.
It is free to start without a card, it runs on the web, iPhone and Android, and it is used by learners in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and beyond.
What happens in a case
- Talk to the patient. The patient is on video and answers by voice or text, in their own words, and only tells you what you ask about.
- Investigate. Order the labs and imaging you want and read what comes back, including real radiology images.
- Decide. Commit to a main diagnosis, your differentials and a management plan.
- Get your scorecard. A score out of 100 across eight competencies, teaching points on the case, and suggested next cases.
A full case takes about 10 minutes. A quick case, the 2-minute daily round, is a clue-by-clue mini case you can finish on a bus.

What it is not
- No physical examination. A simulator cannot fairly reproduce a murmur or a tender abdomen, so examination stays with real patients and tutors.
- Not a medical device, and nothing in it is advice about a real patient. Cases are written for teaching and clinically reviewed before they go live.
- Not an exam simulator. It is not affiliated with any exam board and does not predict a mark.
- Not a replacement for supervised clinical training.
