Privacy Policy

Diagnosica is an educational clinical simulator for medical students and doctors. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have, including how to delete your account. Diagnosica is operated by CC Global Group LLC ("we", "us"), the data controller for the information described here.

Educational use only. Diagnosica simulates patient encounters for practice and learning. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, and it must never be used for the diagnosis or treatment of real patients. Always rely on qualified clinical judgement and supervision for real patient care.

Information we collect

Account details. Your name and email address, provided when you sign in. Sign-in and identity are handled by our authentication provider, WorkOS.
Your activity in the app. The cases you practise, the questions and answers you type or speak during an encounter (transcripts), the investigations you order, the diagnoses and management plans you submit, your scores, progress, and streaks.
Voice audio. When you choose to speak to an AI patient, your audio is processed in real time to run the conversation and is turned into a text transcript. We store the transcript as part of your encounter.
Payment details. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your subscription status.
Usage and device data. Basic analytics about how the product is used (for example, pages and features viewed), plus technical data such as your device and browser type and IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

To provide the service, run your encounters, and save your progress and scores.
To generate the AI patient's replies, the senior debrief, and your feedback, by sending your inputs to the AI providers listed below so they can produce a response.
To take payment and manage your subscription.
To understand how the product is used and to improve it.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
To respond to your questions and support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run Diagnosica, and only as needed to provide the service. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

Where your data is stored

Diagnosica's database and files are hosted in Google Cloud in the United Kingdom (London region). Some of the providers above process data in the United States, so your information may be transferred internationally. Where that happens, we rely on the providers' standard data-protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is deleted immediately and permanently. Your account and all associated data are erased at the moment you confirm, there is no grace period, and it cannot be restored or recovered afterwards. Signing up again with the same email address creates a new, empty account. A subscription bought on the web with a card is cancelled at the time you request deletion; one bought through Google Play or the App Store must be cancelled in that store, because only the store can cancel it.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time in the app, under Profile > Delete account, or request deletion without the app on our account deletion page.
Access and correction. You can ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.

Children

Diagnosica is intended for medical students and healthcare professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
